I am selling my 1972 MGB GT. First a bit of background. I bought the car 4 years ago and had a good few years enjoying driving it and doing some cosmetic jobs. Last year I decided to remove the stainless steel oversills that were fitted by the PO and discovered some rust to the outer sills, front of the castle sections and outriggers. I decided to remove the wings to investigate further and found the offside strengthener gone and also discovered a hole the drivers side A-post. I am happy to do most mechanical jobs but I am not a welder and I know where my limitations are so I needed to make the decision whether I go down the road of paying someone else to do the work.
